Boom music video

This is the coursework music video of my friend Bing. I play the zombie in black and red in this video.

I really like this video but the main reason I put it on this blog is because of the make-up I did for it. All the zombie's in the video were made-up by me using FX wax, cake blood, and Snazaroo face-paint.

A2 coursework Bird Flu

This is the final edit of my A2 coursework music video. The song is Bird Flu by M.I.A. It was fun making this but the green screening was difficult, because of the quantity we had to render EVERY FIVE MINUTES! To cut that problem down we exported several layers of video at a time and made quicktime movies, these were then re-imported and used as background layers, significantly cutting down rendering time.

Stop-motion was used to create several of the layers.

Wine Red

A music video for "Wine Red" by the Hush Sound made shortly before we began our college coursework music videos. This was fun to make and was shot and edited over two days.

The death of Bing

This video was both shot and edited entirely on a mobile phone for BBC Blast. I did all the camerwork for this piece.

scareydead Rosie

A short film made purely for fun. Only added to this blog because I'm quite proud of the soundtrack which we recorded while editing. The intruments used were a mini guitar bowed with a drum stick and the right side of my face being flicked... Now that's enginuity...

Bloodplant

A stop-motion animation test of my homemade (and entirely edible) blood, later to be used in a number of other videos.

Jack and Meg' first day out

Shot at home in my spare time. These models are constucted of plasticine moulded onto a simple copper wire-frame skeleton. I both designed and made the figures myself and each character is based on a member of the white stripes with each person represented as a rag doll (this in preperation for a video I may make for "Button to Button", a song by that band). This video was made to test the models after I finished making them.

Kitty Wool

Another home-made animation shot and edited similarly to "King Coonie". It was fun too make as well as being a useful experiment with camera mvement in iStopmotion.

The (unimportant) credits read:
Created and shot by Abi Hunt
Filmed in Hawthorne Studios, Britain
With thanks to Brown Wool Co.
No animals were harmed in the making of this film

King Coonie

An animation made at home for fun when I first got iStopmotion. It was shot straight onto my computer through this programme and then imported into iMovies to edit and add sound (all of which was voiced).

Thriller Opening Titles AS

Titles for our made up film "Immersed". This Project won us a college prize.
The sequence was edited on FinalCut Express and the sounndtrac was made on Garage Band.

Kids Tv

Our AS coursework production. A short introduction to a kid's TV programme. Uploading went slighty wrong, only the first minutes and ten seconds are video the rest was blank but for some reason not cut off when the video was quicktimed. This video was edited on iMovies.
